Data deletion

What Dispatch.IO keeps to sign you in with Facebook and post on Facebook and Instagram, and how to delete it.

Delete your data

Dispatch.IO only keeps what it needs to sign you in and post for you: your sign-in with Facebook (id, name, picture, email if provided), your linked Facebook and Instagram accounts with their encrypted access, your Pages, the public YouTube or Twitch channels you added (id, name, avatar), your relays and the history of their posts.

  1. From the dashboard, Personal activity › My networks: “Remove” on a Meta account or a channel deletes its access and data at once; deleting a relay also erases its history.
  2. Sign in with Facebook: unlink Facebook in Linked accounts of the dashboard to stop signing in with it, or remove Dispatch.IO from your Facebook apps (Settings › Security › Apps and websites). The Instagram sign-in button uses this same Facebook account.
  3. From Facebook: remove Dispatch.IO from the authorized apps (Settings › Security › Apps and websites); for Instagram, remove the Dispatch.IO integration from your business portfolio (Meta Business Suite › Settings › Integrations). The access is erased as soon as Meta tells us; a deletion request sent from Facebook deletes your Facebook accounts, the Instagram accounts linked to the same Dispatch.IO account and your sign-in with Facebook. Your Dispatch.IO account itself stays: if Facebook was its only sign-in, you are signed out and can write to us to get it back or delete it. An Instagram account linked alone is removed from My networks.
  4. Or write to us: we delete everything within 30 days.

Deleting your Dispatch.IO account also deletes all of this data.
