Draft version
Part 1: common terms
These terms have a part common to the whole service, then a section for each platform or service (part 2), which adds to the common part for that use.
1. Publisher
The Dispatch.IO service (bots, the dispatchio.xyz website with its dashboard, documentation and leaderboards, and the Android app) is published by Corentin Chopin EI (sole proprietorship, entreprise individuelle), trade name Digi-Nord, 11 Rue Eugène Livois, 62200 Boulogne-sur-Mer, France (digi-nord.eu) [SIREN number]. Contact: [email protected]. In these terms, "Dispatch.IO", "we" and "us" mean the publisher and the service.
2. Purpose and acceptance
These terms of use govern the use of Dispatch.IO. Using a bot, the website or the app means accepting them. Purchases are also governed by the terms of sale, and your data by the privacy policy.
3. The service
Dispatch.IO adds features to the servers of several chat platforms (Discord, Fluxer, Stoat): welcome and goodbye messages, levels and streaks, tickets, role reactions, temporary channels, bump, RSS and social network alerts, moderation and anti-raid, music and radios, and a dashboard to configure them. It also gives you a personal space (profile, activity, and My networks to post the videos and lives of YouTube and Twitch channels on Facebook and Instagram). Available features can differ from one platform to another. Some features require a Premium offer (see the terms of sale).
4. Your Dispatch.IO account and linked accounts
- You have one Dispatch.IO account, to which you can link a Discord account, a Fluxer account, a Stoat account and a Facebook account (at most one of each).
- You sign in to the website and the Android app with any of the linked accounts.
- The Instagram button of the sign-in page uses the Facebook sign-in: Meta doesn't offer an Instagram sign-in to new apps, so you sign in with the Facebook account linked to your Instagram.
- An account linked only to Facebook has access to the personal space, but must link Discord, Fluxer or Stoat to manage servers.
- Signing in with Facebook (your identity) is separate from the Meta accounts linked to post (My networks relay): one never gives the other.
- You can link or unlink an account at any time from Linked accounts in the dashboard.
- You keep your accounts secure; what is done from your account is deemed done by you.
5. Access
You must be old enough to use each platform you use with Dispatch.IO in your country, and comply with its rules (see part 2). A bot is added to a server by a member who has the permission to manage that server.
6. Your commitments
You agree not to:
- use a bot, the website or the app to break the law or the rules of a platform (spam, harassment, scams, illegal content);
- try to get around the limits of the service, access what you are not allowed to, or harm its operation (abusive automation, attacks, reverse engineering);
- use the service to collect data about other users without their consent.
Server administrators are responsible for the configuration they set up (messages, roles given, moderation).
7. Moderation of the service
In case of breach, Dispatch.IO may, without notice: remove a bot from a server, ban a server or a user from the bot (blacklist), or suspend access to the dashboard or the app. A request to review a decision can be sent to [email protected].
8. Availability
The service is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it available, but interruptions can happen (maintenance, outages of a platform, incidents). The current state is shown on the status page.
9. Intellectual property
The bots, the website, the app, their code, design and content belong to the publisher. The content you create (messages, images, configuration) remains yours; you allow us to store and display it to provide the service. Discord, Fluxer, Stoat, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch and Stripe are the brands of their owners; Dispatch.IO is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
10. Liability
Dispatch.IO cannot be held liable for indirect damage, for the use of the service by server members, or for the actions of the third-party platforms and services it relies on.
11. End of use
You can stop at any time: remove the bot from your servers, unlink your accounts, or ask for the deletion of your Dispatch.IO account at [email protected]. Dispatch.IO can end your access in the cases of section 7. Subscriptions follow the terms of sale.
12. Changes
These terms can change. The date of the last update is shown on this page; significant changes are announced in the patch notes.
13. Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, contact us first at [email protected]. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence.
14. Contact
Part 2: each platform or service
15. Discord
The Dispatch.IO bot for Discord and the Discord sign-in. You must comply with the Discord Terms of Service and the Discord Community Guidelines. The bot is added by a member who has the Manage Server permission. Discord is not responsible for Dispatch.IO.
16. Fluxer
The Dispatch.IO bot for Fluxer and the Fluxer sign-in. You must comply with the Fluxer Terms of Service (and its privacy policy). The bot is added by a member who can manage the community. Fluxer is not responsible for Dispatch.IO.
17. Stoat
The Dispatch.IO bot for Stoat (the official stoat.chat instance) and the Stoat sign-in: Stoat has no sign-in for apps, so you confirm it by sending a code to the bot in a private message (or by opening the link it sends you). You must comply with the Stoat Terms of Service, its Stoat supplement and its Community Guidelines. Stoat is not responsible for Dispatch.IO.
18. Android app
The Dispatch.IO Android app is free and is downloaded from the website. You sign in with the same accounts as on the website (Discord, Fluxer, Stoat, Facebook). Some updates are required: the app asks you to install them before going on (that's why it asks for Android's permission to install apps). Some editors stay on the website, the app opens them there. Purchases are made on the website (see the terms of sale).
19. Facebook and Instagram
- Sign in with Facebook (Facebook Login for Business): an identity only, which never lets Dispatch.IO post. The Instagram button uses this same Facebook sign-in.
- My networks relay: you link your Facebook Pages and your professional Instagram accounts so that Dispatch.IO posts there the new videos and lives of the YouTube and Twitch channels you add. Only link accounts you are allowed to post on; you are responsible for what your relays post. Nothing is posted without a relay you created.
- You must comply with the Meta Terms of Service and the Instagram Terms of Use.
- "Remove" in My networks unlinks an account at once; the deletion of the data is explained on the data deletion page and in the privacy policy.
20. YouTube and Twitch
You can relay any public YouTube or Twitch channel, yours or someone else's, added by its link or its name. The posts share the title, the link and the picture of the video or the live, not the video itself. Only relay content you are allowed to share on your Pages and accounts, and respect the rights of its creators: if a creator asks you to stop, remove their channel. Public data is read through YouTube API Services: by using this feature, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service; the Google Privacy Policy applies. For Twitch: Twitch Terms of Service.
21. Payments (Stripe)
Premium offers are paid on the website through Stripe, under the conditions of the terms of sale.
