A template is a server model: roles, categories, channels, their permissions and the Dispatch.IO module configuration, without any members or messages. You apply it to an existing server, on Discord, Fluxer or Stoat, after checking the list of changes.

All templates are free.

Official templates

Six themes, in French and English:

TemplateFor whom
Gaming / EsportsA team or a gaming community: tournaments, recruitment, voice channels per game.
Streamer / CreatorA community around a channel: live announcements, clips, linked channels with Twitch chat.
Support / BusinessCustomer support: tickets, FAQ, announcements, team.
CommunityA server for friends or a small community: chat, media, events.
RoleplayA roleplay server: character sheets, locations, game rules, game masters.
School / StudiesA class or a year group: subjects, homework, help, study voice channels.

Some also come in a Premium version, more complete (more channels, roles and configured modules), marked with a badge.

The public gallery, dispatchio.xyz/templates, shows every official and community template, without an account. Filter by category, language, compatible platform and tags, or sort by rating and number of uses.

A template's page shows its preview (the channel and role list as in the app, enabled modules as cards), its description, compatible platforms and reviews.

Use this template: sign in, choose the server, then check the list of changes before applying. In the dashboard, the server's Forge › Templates tab shows the same gallery, with the server already selected.

Turn a backup into a template

  1. In Forge › Vault, a backup's ⋯ menu, Create a template.
  2. Choose the parts to keep: roles, channels, permissions, emojis, each Dispatch.IO module.
  3. Forge automatically removes members, personal names (usernames in channel or role names, the server name) and links; check the result in the preview and fix what's left.
  4. Give it a name, a description, a category, tags and a language, then Save. The template is private.

You can also save a server designed in the AI studio as a template.

Your templates are in Personal space › Forge › My templates. Only you can see them. To share one, Copy link: anyone with the link can open and use it, without being able to edit it. Disable link makes it private again.

  1. In My templates, Publish to the gallery.
  2. A first automatic check reviews the template: offensive names, advertising, links, dangerous permissions.
  3. The Dispatch.IO team reviews it. You get a notification when it is published or rejected (with the reason).

Once published, other users can rate it (1 to 5 stars), see its number of uses and report it. You can remove it from the gallery at any time; an edit goes through review again.

Note

Safety rules

A community template can never grant Administrator or a management permission to @everyone. A template's text is treated as content, never as an instruction for the AI.

Forge applies a template to an existing server. To start from a brand-new server on Discord, a template's page offers Create a Discord link:

  1. Forge prepares a Discord template and gives you a discord.new/… link.
  2. Open the link: Discord creates your server with the roles, categories, channels and their permissions.
  3. Add Dispatch.IO to this server: Forge offers to apply the rest (emojis and module configuration).

A Discord template contains no emojis and no bot configuration: that's why step 3 exists.

A template on another platform

A template works on all three platforms. Anything that doesn't exist on the server's platform is converted or skipped, and the list of changes says so before applying:

The gallery shows on each template the platforms where it applies without loss.
